Food was good. Price was proportionate to the food quality. This is a no frills establishment. Service is quick, it's as you would expect for a small Asian no frills restaurant.

So excited that they are open in downtown! I usually door dash this place which is in Freeport but happy to hear they are the same owners as Dumpling & Tea which is my favorite dumplings in sac. I used to go to the Davis location but glad they opened up a few closer to me. The cashiers are so friendly! i parked my car in front of the entrance but didn't want to pay for parking so the cashier brought my food out to me when they were done (within minutes of ordering) which was such a nice gesture. I got my usual pork and chive dumplings + kimchi pork. Both tasted delicious and packed with so much meat! They are so generous with the portions and also at a great price. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves dumplings!

As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the workers whom are kind and helpful. We got the vegetable Chow mein and the chive and pork fried dumplings. I'd say eat there as it's super cute and homey vibes. We also received a passion fruit tea and brown sugar milk tea. Seem as boba is brown sugar boba has head up!

A cute place!! It was my first time there and I asked the worker for recommendations and he gave me the full rundown of differences between each type of dumplings. I got the pork and chive potstickers and it was soo bomb omg! Just the right amount of crispy too. I got my order to go but decided to eat it in the restaurant while its hot and the lady who works there brought me a water cup without me asking Awesome service!!

So good!! Highly recommend. The best dumplings in Sacramento hands down. Service is fast you get fresh food and it's soo good. You won't regret it. Tried the vegetable bao the first time today and is now my new favorite. The texture of it is so nice. Feels like we're getting authentic food here. Also give the fried pumpkin a try. I love all the dumplings here so you can't go wrong.

Cute little traditional spot to grab some lunch or dinner. Our server was very efficient and attentive, brought out out food almost immediately with waters and sauces. I got some bbq pork baos and they were my favorite out of the dishes we ordered. The bbq pork is sweet but not too sweet and has the perfect amount of filling. It pairs well with one of the sweeter sauces. We also tried the chicken and shrimp dumplings and they were really good and filling with the chili oil, and the dumplings themselves were STUFFED. Overall great spot to fulfill my dumpling cravings.

Dumpling house has more than just dumplings. There's noodles, baos, and dim sum. I really liked the shao mai here. Shao mai can be too porky or too shrimpy but these had the perfect ratio. One of the bests I've had around here. The dumplings come in 12 pieces per order. Vegetable dumplings was filled with ginger, kale, cabbage, carrots, mushroom, tofu. I liked it but the ginger is a bit strong so kids may not like it. Bbq pork bao had the perfect ratio of bun and meat. It was really good and flavorful. The walnut shrimp was a bit soggy with it drenched in sauce. Keep in mind that I did order to go so it may have been more crispy if I ate it right away. I'll have to request for sauce on the side next time. I ordered online for pick up and food was done quickly.

Hidden gem in Sacramento, although I'm sure it's known to the locals. While staying in Sacramento for work I've made it my mission to try some of the best local spots and my friends and I were lucky to stumble upon Dumpling House. Although small in size the food packs a mighty punch with its delectable dumplings and fragrant foods. The staff were kind and courteous they made us feel welcome. The restaurant although it's a bit of a tight squeeze you still don't feel rushed, it's comfortable and just has a good vibe. I recommend the shomai, honey walnut shrimp, garlic edamame and the kimchi fried rice with shrimp. I'll definitely be going back for more before I leave town.

My friend and I visited the Dumpling House on Wednesday, 1/17/24, for an early dinner. We both decided to order and share the Shrimp Dumplings, Shrimp & Chicken Pot Stickers, Pork & Shrimp Shao Mai, and Pork Xiao Long Bao. Everything was beyond tasty and flavorful from start to finish. None of the food disappointed at all. If I had to choose a top favorite, it was definitely the Pork & Shrimp Shao Mai. I also got myself an Iced Passion Fruit Tea drink. It was truly fruity, refreshing, and complemented the entire meal. The inside of the restaurant had a nice, cozy feel. The staff members were welcoming and inviting. The service was friendly and wonderful. Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a great variety of palatable dumplings!

I'm a sucker for dumplings and noodles and Dumpling House satisfies my cravings every time! If I'm in the area, I'll place an order to go. I love their pork and chive dumpling, Shu Mai, and chow mein. The Dan Dan noodles are good too. If I'm in a rush and don't have time to go to Lam Kwong for their BBQ pork Bao, I'll just get it here. Overall, I like the convenience of Dumpling House. They satisfy my hankering for some Dim Sum. Wish they had Har Gow. The menu isn't all that you would find in a typical dim sum joint but it does the job !.
